Mercy has come like early morning dew.
Welcome her gladly; befriend her.
She's here to remove your blindness.
Speak your mind; you won't offend her.
Partake of her lovingkindness;
Imbibe her sweet laughter like wine.
Hope is here as well, and she beckons you;
She sees your soul's indecision.
You've nothing to fear; believe her.
Trust her instincts and her vision.
She'll fade now and then; don't leave her.
Your unraveled prayers she'll entwine.
Grace appears! She has joined the other two.
Their table is set; it's boundless.
Her free gift of love you'll treasure;
Your payment efforts are groundless.
Her merits you'll never measure.
She waits at the table; recline.

Wistful Earth
Clouds do what clouds are inclined to do:
They effortlessly glide across the sky.
While I'm wondering why I'm feeling blue,
They navigate the restless wind on high.
Today the Earth is wistfully clad.
But clouds have a purpose, a mission to fulfill;
And they'll heed the call, good day or bad:
They sail on, though they're seemingly standing still.
Birds do what birds are designed to do:
They search the sky and sing their blissful songs.
Will I keep my earthbound point of view
Or let it soar on high where it belongs?
It's easy to give up and be sad.
But birds have a purpose, a mission to fulfill;
And they'll heed the call, good day or bad,
In the lowest valley and on the highest hill.
What about us? What have we been called to do
When troubled times cause fragile hearts to fail?
I won't yield to helplessness--will you?
Our hope-emboldened spirits must prevail.
Our restless planet yearns to be glad.
And we have a purpose, a mission to fulfill;
We must heed the call, good day or bad:
Choose to love, and pray, "Not my will..."
Choose to love, and pray. "Not my will, but your will."

Say Yes to the Lord
A bit of reggae...
You've been waiting, been stalling;
You can't take another day.
He's been calling, been calling;
He's waiting; what will you say?
Say yes.
(Give him your heart now.)
Say yes.
(Right where you are now.)
Say yes to the Lord.
Say yes.
(You know he loves you.)
Say yes.
(Say, "Lord, I'll trust you.")
Say yes to the Lord.
Say yes to the Lord.
You've been running, been hiding
In the cold, dark, lonely night.
You've been struggling, been fighting;
When will you come to the light?
Say yes.
(Give him your heart now.)
Say yes.
(Right where you are now.)
Say yes to the Lord.
Say yes.
(You know he loves you.)
Say yes.
(Say, "Lord, I'll trust you.")
Say yes to the Lord.
Say yes to the Lord.
Child, there's nothing to fear here.
Come, it's safe and warm, and you'll find rest.
Love is what you will find here.
Stay; it's time to end your lonely quest.
Say yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!
Say yes.
(Ooh...)
Say yes.
(Oh, yeah!)
Yes.
(Ooh...)
Yes.
(Do it, do it.)
Oh say yes.
(Give him your heart now.)
Say yes.
(Right where you are now.)
Say yes to the Lord.
Say yes.
(You know he loves you.)
Say yes.
(Say, "Lord, I'll trust you.")
Say yes to the Lord.
