Love, Lead Me Home

You are my true morning light,
My lamp in the night;
I'm lost without You.
Guide my steps once again,
friend;
I'll trust and follow you.

Through mountains and canyons
Faithful companion,
Lead me home.

Love, take me with you;
Call me your own.
Let me walk beside You,
Nevermore alone.
Love, teach me Your ways;
Fill my mouth with Your praise.
I'll declare your mighty deeds,
And walk where You lead.

When You speak to me,
Your words are living bread,
Wine and sweet repose.
You prepare a table for me,
And You anoint my head;
My cup overflows.

Surely Your goodness
And Your lovingkindness
Will guide me home.

Love, take me with you;
Call me your own.
Let me walk beside You,
Nevermore alone.
Love, teach me Your ways;
Fill my mouth with Your praise.
I'll declare your mighty deeds,
And walk where You lead.

[instrumental interlude]

Love, take me with you;
Call me your own.
Let me walk beside You,
Nevermore alone.
Love, teach me Your ways;
Fill my mouth with Your praise.
I'll declare your mighty deeds,
And walk where You lead.
