I know a sanctuary
Like none you've ever known.
You would feel at home there,
Never be alone there.
Those burdens that you carry,
Feel free to let them go.
You can lay them down there;
Maybe you belong there.
You get to be real,
Even if your life is a mess.
You get to be real;
Ain't no "in" crowd there to impress.
You ain't got a thing to lose.
Love is the big reveal,
And you get to be real.
I know your heart is broken;
You're weary of the pain.
Oh, but there's a balm there,
A soul-healing balm there.
The door is always open;
You've everything to gain.
You can be yourself there;
Maybe you belong there.
You get to be real,
Even if your life is a mess.
You get to be real;
Ain't no "in" crowd there to impress.
You ain't got a thing to lose.
Love is the big reveal,
And you get to be real.
No mind trips,
No trite quips,
No "let's make a deal,"
No "spin the big wheel,"
No card tricks or loaded dice,
No superficial advice,
No cliques or VIPs,
No dangling-karat tease.
You get to be real,
Even if your life is a mess.
You get to be real;
Ain't no "in" crowd there to impress.
You ain't got a thing to lose.
Love is the big reveal,
And you get to be real.
Yeah, you get to be real.
